Great dvds
Acceptable quality for the time. Enjoyed the show. It would be good if there was a contents on the cover of each series as the episodes are not in order on the discs.
Exactly what I wanted- region 4 DVD most were region 2
Great to finally be able to find a copy of this movie. Excellent service that I would recommend to anyone.
Would prefer a thicker case, like you see with all DVD’s.
Very good movie plus it was fast delivery great pricing
Too long on shipping
The dvd's arrived in decent time. I was so excited to get them but when I went to play them they didn't work on my dvd player. I am looking into buying another dvd player in the hopes that they'll work. I was really disappointed.
I love this movie my mum got his movie on VHS so I wanted to get it on DVD
The DVD arrived in good time and met expectation
You have a wide range of interesting DVDs that I have been looking for and failed to find anywhere else
The movie was just as I remembered it. The only issue was with the first cd which would go blank every once in awhile though each time it was only for a couple of seconds so it didn't bother me that much. The second cd had no issues.
The transfer copy job is excellent based on the source copy now not really available. No real compression artefacts which is helped by the film being in B&W and a running length under 90 minutes
So any compression just to have the movie fit on the disc is extremely minor.
As to the film, it's a solid little western. Joel McCrea is one of those actors who look as if they give nothing to their performance but in fact give much (not unlike Gary Cooper and Clint Eastwood early in their careers). He certainly adds gravitas and the support players don't lack for anything in their performance.
Not a John Ford or Raoul Walsh by any degree but good solid matinee entertainment to while away those late afternoons.
Good seller to deal with, I enjoy the movie Many thanks
Hi delivery was great and well wrapped so dvd was safe..
I’ve just finished watching the film and thank you for good quality dvd
Hello! The problem was the audio. you were kind enough to try sending it again, but it was very low quality and no subtitles, thus the 1-star review. When I said that the quality was too low to really watch the film, I requested a refund. I got no further response and that's where the communication stopped. That's the disappointing truth.
Thanks, Chehalis Hegner
Wonderful to find such a favorite film and it even played on my DVD player.
I enjoyed it as though seeing for the first time. Wonderful playback, clear and audible. Well done and thank you so much!
Great service and quick delivery A+++
I don’t dislike it, film freezes in parts
Great movie and good cast.
It's a great film about a huge Saxon find due to one man's perseverance, great acting
Great thank you … an oldie but a goodie
Very romantic and great cast and lovely scenery
With a Song In My Heart I was only 2 years old when this movie was made, but thank goodness for cable I saw it. It was one of the most wonderful movies I’ve ever seen. Susan Hayward becomes Jane Froman. Jane Froman’s life is a true inspiration to me. A lot of people would not have fought through what she did to walk. The music is music I grew up with at my grandparents. Embraceable You is one of my all time favorites. This is a feel good movie. The scene between Jane and the shell-shocked soldier, played by Robert Wagner, is incredible. You will marvel how Jane remembers this soldier from before the War, and re-connects with him. This movie might make you teary eyed, but it is wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent Musical drama
