Not the worse Frank James story and worth watching.
Yesterday I commented another William Berke's film, also starring Don Barry and Robert Lowery and speaking of Billy the Kid. Here, the same crew and talking this time about Frank James. Same quality of both pictures, short, fast paced, not that bad for such B westerns. William Berke was a chain film maker, able to shoot five movies - even more - a year, as Edward L Cahn or Sam Newfield. It has to be watched a a B western and never compare it with other movies also telling the story of Jesse James' brother. This is not the worse and deserves to be seen for gem diggers. William Berke is a director whose movies are numerous to be still available. Of course it is not said that Frank James became the President Theodore Roosevelt's bodyguard in real life.....
