Feet of Flames grew out of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, which itself sprung from the original dance concert Riverdance in which Michael was a performer. Each new incarnation was an improvement over the previous until Feet of Flames was performed before a live audience of 25,000 attendees at Hyde Park in the center of London on July 25, 1998. This show can be viewed as a three act performance with the innovation that for the first time Celtic Dancers were told to use their arms as a part of their choreography.

They thought Lord of the Dance was the show of the nineties.... but are they proved wrong?
Being a huge fan of Lord of the dance i didn't think Michael Flatley could pull off another show like it, but this contains the spirit and originality of LOTD and much much more. We see more from the dancers such as Bernadette Flynn and Gillian Norris. and trust me they only just touched on the talents of the two girls in LOTD. Now 2 years later at still just 18 you get a view of how bright the future of Irish dancing is going to be. The story is great, the dancing is great, the music is great what more could you fit into this breathtaking show?? well i supposed there is Michael Flatley and yes fellow ladies. he is topless again. :D an absolute must see.

Excellent Update of Lord of the Dance
I thoroughly enjoyed the film Lord of the Dance when it was released. I later saw the live show in Oklahoma City, OK and enjoyed that presentation as well. I then had the opportunity to get the VHS tape of Michael Flatley: Feet of Flames. I noted that he used the same performers as in the original Lord of the Dance. It was also quite apparent that the overall performance of those same performers was substantially better than the original. The added numbers were a definite bonus to the film. I highly recommend Feet of Flames to anyone that likes musical shows.
