When Mrs. Call’s heart condition acts up, Tammy tags along in the trip to Los Angeles when the old lady is getting her surgery. Since there are no guest quarters in the hospital, Tammy gets a job in the hospital as a nurse’s assistant. Peter Fonda plays Tammy’s love interest, Dr. Mark Cheswick, while Adam West has a small part as Dr. Eric Hassler. This is the final entry in the canonic film series, and Sandra Dee’s last appearance as Tammy.

Loving, Funny, Wonderful, Must See

Tammy And The Doctor As a young teen, I watched all of the ” Tammy ” movies that came on TV. It did not matter if the part was being played by Sandra Dee or Debbie Reynolds. I just couldn’t wait to see what Tammy had to say next or how she was going to say it, to see the reaction on other faces and how they take it. I could really relate to this movie being from Alabama. I understood some of the sayings from her grandfather that the people in the movie didn’t. I dreamed of being on a river boat having the adventures that Tammy had and I would sit with Tammy and listen to her stories. Sandra Dee is captivating, a wonderful actress, plays a loving friend role and is just so funny especially when she is trying to be so serious. I think everyone should see it, especially those in the medical profession.

Funny and Refreshing!

I am a teenager and with all the junk out on television today this comedy/romance was refreshing. There was no vulgar language of such, except for Mr. Tripp saying one word which is funnily commented after. It is brilliant and I enjoyed every moment of it right up the ending. The backward “stanty boat” girl, who lived “betwist here and Vicksburg” all her life. And has never flown in a plane before. So if you want to see a truly great film this is one of them! Watch all three of them. The three would be Tammy and the bachelor, Tammy be true, and Tammy and the doctor! They are all special in the own way.

A good DVD but episodes out of order.

A good DVD, but the episodes were misnumbered and out of order. Not a problem once the viewer realises and watches episodes in correct order.

Battletruck dvd

I received my dvd of the movie Battletruck a couple of weeks ago but I've been away so couldn't watch it until last night.
Great old classic that brought back a few memories.
I purchased it at a great price and it arrived in good condition and in good time.
I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys to anyone who is looking for a hard to find classic movie.
