Broken Arrow, By 1870, there has been 10 years of cruel war between settlers and Cochise’s Apaches. Ex-soldier Tom Jeffords saves the life of an Apache boy and starts to wonder if Indians are human, after all; soon, he determines to use this chance to make himself an ambassador. Against all odds, his solitary mission into Cochise’s stronghold opens a dialogue. Opportunely, the president sends General Howard with orders to conclude peace. But even with Jeffords’s luck, the deep grievance and hatred on both sides make tragic failure all too likely.

Beautiful
A beautiful film. It is considered one of the first post-war movies to portray Indigenous peoples in a sympathetic way, as opposed to a war obsessed people.

Superb Western
Janes Stewart, Jeff Chandler, Debra Paget truly make the movie, but do not forget the awesome scenery! I live in Arizona and know where this film was made. Near the town of Sedona and of course, Monument Valley to mention the area. This is probably in my mind one of the top five movies of all time in the Western genre. It is there with Shane and one that is rarely mentioned; Lonesome Dove! What I do not understand is why there is no DVD on this movie. It has stood the test of time; over 55 years and still movie audiences still enjoy it. I own a copy of Broken Arrow on Key Video Label, under CBS/Fox Company. This movie is listed as Cat. No. 1310. I have had it since 1988 and it is still in pristine condition. Whether Fox will ever release it on DVD is anyone's guess. I hope they do!

Item received was not 'starring Helen Hayes' despite her picture being on the DVD, it was actually the version with Joan Hickson. I raised a complaint one week ago but still heard nothing in reply. Very poor customer service.

i purchased this from you several months ago. Unfortunately I never saved it . i owned the dvd that i purchased about 20 years ago.and when my computer crashed lost it a second time. Anyone who buys a movie three times likes it. What you sold me is near DVD quality. Your competition sells it for three times what you charged because once again it's out of print. To boot when the charge three times the price the qualitty is poor. I OWN 10,000videos that took 40 years to acquire making purchases all over the world. I say this to emphasize that you are the only quality shop doing what you do so customers can have confidence when they buy from you. The only problem dealing with you is your supply is limited otherwise I would be our best customer. For the record this is a fact based story with fictionalized characters.
