Deathstalker helps Reena the Seer out of a few jams, and she solicits his help for a bigger task. She reveals that she is actually Princess Evie, but the evil sorcerer had her abducted and cloned in order to seize control of the kingdom. Together they travel to the evil sorcerer's stronghold to restore the princess to her rightful position, encountering challenges along the way both from the sorcerer's goons and the fierce Amazon women.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one already. It's one of my favorite B movies. Directed by breast enthusiast Jim Wynorski, it's a surprisingly funny entry into the mostly dreadful sword & sorcery fad of the '80s. John Terlesky gives a wonderfully likable performance as the titular hero. Monique Gabrielle is pretty and adorable. Her line delivery is a little amateurish (and possibly entirely ADR judging by the sound quality) but she seems to be having so much fun that it kind of adds to the charm of her performance. She plays dual roles here, one good girl one bad girl. And yes, she gets naked. The rest of the cast is enjoyable as well.

The sets and costumes and special effects are cheap but it never matters. This is the kind of fun movie that filmmakers just starting out should be trying to emulate, not whatever blockbuster or Oscar bait they just saw. Making a good B movie seems to be a lost art these days.

A good DVD but episodes out of order.

A good DVD, but the episodes were misnumbered and out of order. Not a problem once the viewer realises and watches episodes in correct order.

Battletruck dvd

I received my dvd of the movie Battletruck a couple of weeks ago but I've been away so couldn't watch it until last night.
Great old classic that brought back a few memories.
I purchased it at a great price and it arrived in good condition and in good time.
I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys to anyone who is looking for a hard to find classic movie.

Worth the price

Would give it five stars, but it didn't have a main menu or subtitles. Still, it was great to find such a rare DVD and was worth the wait.
