A great carry on
Cowboy is an excellent film everyone is top notch. It is a classic there could not be a better western carry on than this. This is the one to start with. Dale is excellent as Marshall P Knutt, as is Angela Douglas as Annie Oakley. Joan Sims is excellent as Belle Armitage the sizzling western women.Charles is great as Big heap as is Bresslaw as little heap.the film is brilliant, this shows that the producers really put the effort in to it and it does show. Sid of course plays the Rumpo kid the outlaw of the area and makes a brilliant job of it.This is one of the finest carry ons the series ever made. The plot of the story is as follows. Stodge City is a rough town out in the middle of the wild west. It is being terrorised by the Rumpo Kid Sid James Marshall P Knutt is being sent to clear up the town and he is a sanitation engineer i will not spoil too much of the film so carry on watching!!

A big heap of classic comedy to watchem!!
The frontier town of Stodge City is a haven of peace until one day the feared Rumpo Kid rides in to town, and there's a spate of stagecoach attacks, cow rustling and gun duels at high noon - could a certain Marshal P. Knutt fresh from England looking for a job as drain expert save the day?!!!
An absolutely riot of a comedy from the carry on team. It's boisterous, full of double entrendres, and though it's a send-up of the western genre, you can sense there's a love for the genre - Sid James in particular looks like he's enjoying him self as the Rumpole Kid. The rest of the cast, from Kenneth Williams as the judge, Charles Hawtrey as big heap(!!), and Jim Dale as the drain expert mistaken as a marshal, are on top form. Joan Sims and Angela Douglas add the glamour, Bernard Blesslaw as little heap is funny. The western sets are really good, the high noon segment in the end is enough reason to see this. Sewer drains do come in useful against six guns. It predates Blazing saddles and it's much funnier.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this I just laugh out loud. The scene I find hilarious is the bit where cow hooves print are found on the back of a coat.
"Put in keyhole," says Rumpole kid. "Keyhole?" Replies Little heap. "Keyholem." "Ah, yes keyholem."
