Description

Storyline
Jason (Peter Smith), the leader of a group of neighbourhood kids, is shocked to discover than an unsavory street gang sells stolen dogs to a crooked kennel owner for medical research. When Jason’s beloved dog falls victim to the dastardly scam, the kids are powerless to save her…until they turn to “Jimmie the Hermit” (Mickey Rooney), a mysterious, reclusive World War II army hero. But getting Jimmie to mastermind their commando-style raid on the kennel is an enormous undertaking when his tragic past is revealed. Intrigue, humour and adventure.
Little spies and BRAT patrol
You can imagine how much I liked this two films more than 5 years ago when I tell you I am having an exam tomorrow and I am still here searching for a VHS copy of them! (if you have one, contact me above) anyway, I just wanted to comment this film. I have great memories of it. I think I spent a lot of time playing spies after watching it. It’s a pity that there is none killed, so children today won’t like it but it was a great film
